The DES is an adjacent society to DUES who works specifically towards the bettering of the experience of first and second year engineering students in their integration into engineering and academic success.

Engineering Global Brigades

The Engineering Global Brigades Chapter at Dalhousie is a student led chapter of a worldwide non-profit organization that works towards international sustainable development and community empowerment. After a year of fundraising, the chapter members will embark on a week long trip to a partner country (historically Honduras) to design a new or updated water distribution system with a rural community.
